Cats Behavior
I have a male cat that is roughly 19 months old. I have started to notice that his behavior is changing and that makes me sad. Is it his age or can be environmental. Basically… Yes, they will become less playful, but they will still be frisky. Honestly it depends on the cat. I have 3 and all of them are completely different. As far as playfulness, they all lost that always play attitude as time has gone on, but they will all still play, 1 more so than others. Finding the right toys, is kinda key, and you playing with him. Boys do tend to be lazier, at least thats what I noticed with my male cat. Most cats can't resist boxes, all mine go NUTS over them. Try incorporating more toys and put a small box somewhere. Also, it will help if you get another cat, they do play with each other. I would make sure its a female, males hate other male cats. Just make sure both are spayed/neutered. If you have any further questions please feel free to email me.

Training A Cat
Litter training cats can be really easy the hard part is to figure out what you (yes you) have been doing wrong. Litter training cats can be easy and it can be hard but if you follow the simple guidelines below then you will not have to worry. Many people think that their cat's litter problem is because their cat does not want to use the litter box. That is not true it is because you just have a lack of cat training education.
Litter training cats (the simple way):
Litter training cats is a very common problem so here are a couple of things you may want to check as soon as possible.
Check your litter box
Is your litter box large? Is it small? This has a big affect on your cat so do not take it for granted. If you have a small cat and your cat does not want to use the litter box, it could be because the litter box is to big or your cat is to big and the litter box is to small. Your cat will become uncomfortable and that will cause your cat to use the floor instead.
Where is the litter box?
Do not place your cats litter box in a busy spot, its not going to make your cat want to use it if everyone is walking around your cat. Do not place your cats litter box around it bed or food. Do humans eat where they use the restroom? I hope no, so treat your cat the same way.
Use sprays
There are a lot of sprays on the market that help you attract your cat to use the litter box, check your local pet store and see which one will be the best for you
Schedule eating
Put your kitty on a regular eating schedule and you will know when its time for your cat has to use the litter box.
Clean litter
Very very important tip! Make sure you clean the litter box as frequently as possible. If you don't this makes your cat not want to use the litter box and will force your cat to find a new place to potty. Are Sick of your cat litter problems and Need more help? Cat Sitting
My moms friend approached my mom and asked her if I would watch her cat. (she works in the music industry and can be gone for weeks at a time) I had a cat when I was younger (like 5) but we had to give it to a neighbor because (she had 2 other cats and offered to take him in) but I don't really remember taking care of the cat . (i love animals I have 2 dogs) are they a lot of work? And what games do they play to have fun. After looking around, I learned — Cats, unlike a lot of animals, are one of the easiest pets to take care of, if you can provide the right shelter, food, and attention. I've had four cats in the past 5 years, three of which are still living, and they all are pretty much the same. Cats in general sleep most of the time, reappearing only once in a while to eat, go out, or be petted, so most of the time they make theirselves scarce. We spoil our cats, so they eat 3 times a day and constantly make us let them in or out, but if you just make sure they have enough food and water and somewhere to do their business, you should be set. As for games, any pet store would have little cat toys to keep your cat busy. Older cats, however, prefer to be left alone most of the time. Nevertheless, if you decide to regularly play with your cat, make sure you keep up with the attention constantly, because when cats feel ignored or get mad at you they tend to purposely have 'accidents' all over the house. Hope this helped and I wish you luck with your cat care.
